I Ching Readings are useful when you need guidance on a topic and you are not sure how to proceed with that particular issue. Readings may also give you perspective on a situation to help you see the bigger picture or the overarching theme of the situation you are wondering about.

This session is personalized to your specific needs. Many people come to these appointments with a situation that is troubling them. Sometimes it’s a feeling of being stuck in life, love, and/or work. These clients feel it is useful to have some energy clearing to help remove layers of emotional stress weighing them down.
Sometimes there is a specific issue around a relationship (could be family, romantic, work, friends, kids) where clarity is needed to help the flow of energy and to release emotions that have built up over time. And, sometimes, people have this session because they notice a difference in how they feel afterwards. It can feel like a spring cleaning for your soul!
After scheduling your appointment, you will get a Zoom link. Misa prefers for you to have the video on during your session so that she can see you to do face reading, but of course, if you are uncomfortable with video, it does not have to be on. These sessions are usually 45-60 minutes long, all depending on how much conversation happens.

Nothing in life is constant. The I Ching is an oracle that recognizes this and shares insight into this present moment in time. It will not tell you what to do, nor will it predict the future. Instead, it allows you to soak in and digest the messages offered leaving you to consider how you will move forward in regard to the question/topic you asked. The I Ching offers messages for you to contemplate and it allows you to stay in the flow of life’s ever changing rhythms.
The I Ching (pronounced ee ching), also known as Yijing in modern transliterations, is a 3000 year old Chinese divination tool used throughout history to give people guidance and to help them navigate life. Literally translated, I Ching means the Book of Changes.
The I Ching expert and author, Stephen Karcher, describes the true meaning of the I Ching very well in his book, Total I Ching, Myths for Change, by saying,
“Yijing or Classic of Change is the world’s oldest and most sophisticated system of wisdom divination, a powerful tool and spiritual vehicle that can help people to navigate the voyage of life. It is designed to help us understand and work with the unconscious forces shaping the situations we confront and to keep us connected with the creative process of life. It brings out the helping spirit (shen), the inner voice that helps us on our Way. It does not describe Change; it participates in and articulates Change. It shows how Change happens because it is a part of the process it models.”
The Hexagrams
There are 64 hexagrams that comprise the I Ching and each hexagram is made up of 6 stacked lines. The hexagrams are symbols used to decipher messages from the oracle. Each hexagram has a detailed message which often tells a story about a situation in ancient China which can be related to the circumstance in which you are inquiring.
To get a hexagram (the answer to your question) you toss 3 coins 6 times. Each toss reveals a line and the 6 lines make up the hexagram.
Sometimes a reading is clear and simple, but often there are multiple hexagrams relating to the question asked with many messages throughout the text. During your I Ching session, Misa will help guide you through the text weaving in her knowledge of your unique energetic make up based on the system of the Chinese 5 elements.

Misa offers 2 types of I Ching readings:
Rapid Reading, $80/30 minutes
This type of reading is useful when you just need a quick answer to a question that doesn’t hold a lot of emotion, but you still feel you could use support with. Example questions are:
“What if I go on this vacation?”
“What to do about my car?”
“Show me some guidance on buying _______.”
“What if I do the remodel myself?”
This 30 minute session goes by quickly, so be ready! This type of reading is best for issues that are not too complicated and where you have a pretty clear idea of the question you would like answered.

This reading can shed light on complicated situations showing you the big picture and are helpful with questions like:
